Events

An event is a timed competition containing challenges, registered teams, submissions, and a scoreboard. Every team belongs to one event, and a user can belong to at most one team in that event. The event’s team-size limit applies when users join a team.

The registration deadline is independent of the event start and end times. Registration may close before the event begins or remain open while it is running. Pausing an event temporarily blocks challenge instance starts and submissions without changing its schedule or registrations.

Visibility is configured separately for the event, its challenges, and its scoreboard. This lets an organizer publish the event page while keeping challenges or standings private. See Scoreboards for scoreboard access and ranking rules.

Event administrators can manage registered teams and members, including excluding a participant from competition without preventing them from taking part.
